May 2, 2012-ATLANTA: Scott Hostetler designed his back yard with a series of outdoor rooms in a classical french structure with spiraled white pine trees at his Atlanta home that will be part of the Atlanta Botanical Garden's annual Mother's Day event (since 1984), Gardens for Connoisseurs, May 12-13. The tour will feature 11 private gardens, including formal French and English gardens, a Japanese garden and several Southern gardens. Phil Skinner pskinner@ajc.com
